Lot 615: SSL 1304 – Registered Dorset Ewe Lamb RRNN: White Lightning x SSL 1119 (Ghost Train x Daniels 9243). This ewe lamb is sired by the one of the most intriguing Dorset wether sires in the country, White Lightning, at Daniels Club Lambs. White Lightning is the sire of our popular class winning ewe lamb “Rosie” at the 2012 NAILE junior show, shown by Brooke Kirchhofer. 1304’s dam is a maternal half- sister to “Rosie”. White Lightning’s sire (Vinny-Venable 11) shows up on both sides of 1304’s pedigree as her maternal grandmother, 9243, is also a Vinny (Venable 11) daughter. We all know the value of line breeding. This sheep is extremely good in her design, square on her feet and legs, long necked, handles with excellent shape down her top while being bold ribbed. She is tremendous in her hip-loin junction and monster hipped. I am confident she will work not only in the ring, but also in the lambing barn after her show career is over. Be sure to check her out.
