Barbie is a show ewe, out of a stud ewe, out of a show ewe. Winning her class at Akransas State Fair for the McDowell family, she is sired by Enron and out of one of our top Bambino daughters, that is now in the Sloan family’s stud ewe pen, purchased as lot #3 of our 2010 bred ewe sale. Amber Vaughn showed her Ritz grandmother and racked up a fun summer in Colorado winning multiple jackpots with her.
Barbie’s first lambing resulted in a keeper Unleaded ewe lamb in 2009 that will be in our flush program for 2012. In 2010 she raised our lead Signature wether sold to Brad Dale, and in 2011 she entered into our Flush program, resulting in the high seller in 2011 HYSLC sale and a barn favorite ram lamb out of Smooth Criminal that we lost prior to weaning. She was flushed to Tundra for 2012 and is now naturally confirmed to Unbelievable. Enron females have been the cornerstone of our ewe program and as many of you know, Barbie, has been my favorite from birth. She is special.
