This was our pick off the Skidgel farm in 2011 for a couple obvious reasons…she was the biggest hipped and loined sheep we found anywhere that year. She starts her campaign as a producer with triplets in 2013, a private treaty ewe lamb to Dice IN, a wether to Jay Sweet that wins a County show in MI, and a keeper ewe, JFSS 3017, who in her first lambing in 2015 sells a $3000 private wether to Illinois and a keeper ewe lamb that we feel is in our top 5! The JFSS 3017 x Checkmate mating last year was so good, that we felt it extremely intriguing to take that ewes momma to Checkmate. We really were anticipating this mating, we expect BIG things from it. However, when Dan called needing us to add 1 more feature ewe to this sale, and knowing were in a "youth" movement and have a daughter and grandaughter in the flock, we sadly decided to let her go. Give her a good home, she will be one that generates champions and money for years to come yet!
