These are a group of ewes that I hadn't planned to sell, but I told Clay I would bring a good set and here they are. 82 is one of the nicest ewes I own, big hip and top, good bone with a lot of Hamp breed characteristics. She really is smooth and still has a lot of power. She is sired by a really nice ram lamb of Mike Hancock's that we called Memphis. All of her wethers have done well on the Texas and Oklahoma show circuits. We kept her 2008 ram lamb, but lost him before we got to use him. Troy Gilbert got his 2009 lamb and won a large Texas county. The Kirk Cox family bought her 2010 lamb and was very successful with him. I have retained two of her ewe lambs for my flock. She sells bred to Tuff our 2010 ram lamb that has created a lot ofexcitement. He is the biggest hipped, biggest butted ram I have ever used. He has a lot of bone and shag and is, I think, what the industry is looking for. I think this cross could be incredible.
