We opted to select our Johnson donor ewe for this years edition of Industry Elite. 0229 is an awesome looking female with the Johnson power and touch they are known for. She was purchased as a ewe lamb and was an excellent show ewe for the girls that summer with 2 Reserve banners. More importantly she has performed in the lambing barn just as we hoped. She has been flushed one time yielding 5 pregnancies out of 6 embryos. We have had 12 lambs from her: 3 keeper daughters, 1 keeper son ,"Big Smo", who did a great job in his first lamb crop siring the Supreme Champion Wether Dam at 2015 SD State Fair for Brinn and the Grand Champion Lamb at the Merced County Show in California as well as some exciting prospects on feed for the spring southern shows. Blaser Club Lambs are now utilizing Big Smo in their program. Heath Williams selected a Trailblazer ET daughter at the top of our 2014 ET Babies Online sale. Wattonville Club Lambs purchased an Upgrade daughter and Clark Club Lambs in Ohio purchased her Predator son as the high seller in our 2015 March Online sale. 3 of her ET wethers last year did well for the Bayne, Gary and Rowlett families in California. She has grossed $26,700 and has an unique mating to Grizz in her belly this time. Christmas week in the barn should be an exciting time for her new owner!
