Kidd Family Auctions is a business with a down home family feel. It’s owned and operated by Dennis Kidd and Lyn Grose. Dennis graduated from Southwestern Ontario School of Auctioneering in 1995. In early 2015 Dennis formed Kidd Family Auctions. The staff team consists of three generations of Kidds and hand-picked, capable staff members. We have experience with a wide range of auctions stemming from our background in farming and extending to a variety of other industries. Auctions are meant to be fun, exciting and entertaining. This online art auction came to be as a result of our sister, Kathy Dornan’s, recent diagnosis of Stage 4 Ovarian Cancer. Her medical team advised a protocol of standard chemotherapy combined with naturopathic treatments and supplements. Since her condition is described as palliative, the oncologist estimated that she would require approximately 100K in order to fund the cost of the treatments, supplements, rent, and nutrition. In addition to the GFM fundraiser, artists, photographers, jewellery and clothing designers were approached regarding an online auction. The kindness and generosity of these donors has been overwhelming. Your participation as a donor and as a purchaser significantly impacts Kathy’s healing journey. Creating Klondike Online Auction is the outcome of a dream I had been nurturing for many years. Everyone has heard of the quote “Follow your Passion” but most of us think, what is my passion and how do I turn that into a way to make a living? Looking for a deal, in whatever way, has always been something I love.
Looking for deals, buying other people’s castoffs (or treasures) and hearing the stories around why they no longer want or need something is fascinating. Everyone has a story, every article has a story. I acquire things, keep things, display things and often pass them along to other people who will also appreciate them.
I thought; why can’t I turn my passion into a business? To be a successful person, we need to be able to solve other people’s problems. I can help put people in touch with what they want or need and the internet is an amazing system to do that with.

Kwik Auctions sells a high volume of brand-new items. The majority of every auction is typically new inventory. LL Auctions is based out of Dickinson Texas, just south of Houston, but conducts auctions for corporations, privately held companies, law firms, individuals and fundraising events across Texas, as well as assisting with specialty auctions in several states.
