iSharps model 1874 single shot rifle, 30” barrel, blue and case hardened finish, Hartford barrel address with pewter forend, .44 caliber 2-5/8” cartridge with straight case, veneer tang sight, in very good plus to near fine original condition. Serial #154815. The barrel retains 90-95% original blue that is evenly thinning and toning with some just beginning erosion and normal aging. The frame shows 50-70% original case hardening starting to drift and tone with some darkening and minor erosion and good rainbow colors showing on most of the frame. Good sharp markings, crisp edges, very good plus original wood with 70-80% thinning varnish, some minor marks, a large dent in the top of the comb, 2” back from the point and some other minor imperfections. At least very good plus with good wood to metal fit. The bottom of the frame shows a 236 assembly type number by the lever. The buttplate shows 30% mottled case hardening. The rifle is fitted with a Lawrence type rear sight, hooded front sight in their proper dove tails. The tang sight is marked New Model 1859 and is probably a period or dealer edition. Little John's will pay for packing and materials. Buyer pays actual costs of shipping and insurance. All International purchases will be sent to an exporter for shipment to foreign countries.
