For your bidding in this lot is a signed Zuni Native American Indian Sterling Silver, and Mammoth Ivory mosaic men's ring US size 8.5. The ring is inlayed with 21 different pieces of Mammoth Ivory and walrus Ivory in different shades. Inside the ring is stamped Zuni with the artists hallmark and name R. Tsabetsaye. Zuni artist Roger Tsabetsaye comes from a very talented family. His sister, Edith Tsaybetsaye is known around the world for her needlepoint work. Roger is not just a jewelry maker, or a painter, but an artist. Roger Tsabetsaye started in 1963 and among his works is the symbol for the Zuni Veterans of all Foreign Wars. Roger says "My Grandson has me doing more unique pieces, something that is going to be very collectible. This summer I believe a Coffee Set I made is going to be on exhibit by the Peabody Museum." The ring face is 1.75" long and the mosaic goes completely around the ring.
