This is an exceptional signed Zuni Native American Indian sterling silver needlepoint turquoise squash blossom necklace. The piece is made from solid sterling silver. The naja and blossoms are set with perfectly matched turquoise needlepoint and round cabochons. The naja alone has 85 turquoise cabochons and the blossoms each have 19. The back of the naja is signed "I&J Hattie". The squash blossom won "First Prize" and "First Award Winner" ribbons at the Inter-Tribal Ceremonial in Gallup, New Mexico in 1979. The Zuni squash blossom is in excellent condition. The naja measures 2.25" x 2.5" and the necklace is 25" long.
