Original sword used by "Marcus", played by Bobby Hosea on the production of the Robert Tapert created fantasy television series 'Xena: Warrior Princess' (1995-2001), which follows Xena (played by Lucy Lawless), an infamous warrior on a quest to seek redemption for her past sins against the innocent by using her formidable fighting skills to now help those who are unable to defend themselves. In its second season it became the top-rated syndicated drama series on American television.
Marcus was a recurring character on Xena: Warrior Princess. He was a close acquaintance of Xena's, and an arms dealer who was later redeemed. He first met Xena when she dealt with him and Mezentius, concerning weapons for her army. The two became very close in the time they spent together.
