The left side of the slide is marked "P.38 ac/ 43" and the serial number and the right side of the slide is stamped with two "eagle/359" Waffenamt proofs flanking the Nazi eagle firing proof, (the latter restamped). The matching serial number is also stamped on the front barrel lug. The locking block is marked "147/K" on the bottom with the correct proofs on each side. The left side of the barrel lug is marked with the "eagle/359" proof mark. Blue unmarked magazine, and fitted with serrated bakelite grips, with lanyard loop on the left heel. Complete with a black leather flap holster marked "P38", "gxy 1943 ' "eagle/WaA7??" on the back. Also comes with capture papers.

Condition: Fine. The pistol retains 75% original blue finish with scattered thinning, muzzle and high edge wear and a smooth grayish brown patina on the front strap, trigger guard and the bottom of the frame. There is some minor spotting on the slide. The grips are good showing some wear. The markings are clear. Mechanically excellent. The holster is good with some heavy wear and minor flex cracks on the flap, overall a few minor scuffs, a small hole on the toe and tight stitching.
