This example was manufactured between October of 1942 and December of 1943. The front sight is stamped with an "N", the barrel is stamped "INLAND MFG. DIV./GENERAL MOTORS/3-43", type 1 barrel band, 2 rivet deep groove handguard, straight face slide, flat bolt, type 1 rear sight stamped "S", push button safety, magazine catch stamped "W-I" and a high wood stock stamped "IO" and with an ordnance cartouche on the bottom of the pistol grip, and with a circled "P" proof at the rear. The buttplate has the correct casting marks. With a green web sling.

Very fine, 95% of the almost black dark green parkerized finish remains overall with some scattered minor scratches and some wear. The wood is very fine as reoiled with some scattered scratches and dings. The leather cheek piece has been replaced. Mechanically fine.
