Chamber dated 1939 and toggle marked "S/42", with eagle 63 and firing proofs on the right barrel extension and barrel. The firing proof is also marked on the right rear of the barrel and the left side of the breech block. Safety position and extractor marked "GESICHERT" and "GELADEN" respectively. Matching full serial number on frame, barrel extension and barrel, with the partial serial number "55" on most of the small components, including the magazine. The grips are un-numbered. All blue finish, fixed sights, blue magazine with aluminum bottom and fitted with checkered walnut grips.

Condition: Excellent. The pistol retains 90% original blue finish with some muzzle and high edge wear and the grip straps faded to a smooth mottled gray patina with a mix of original blue finish and smooth brown patina on the rear of the frame. The grips are also very good with some minor wear on the lower edges, a few minor dings and bruises, and very crisp checkering. The markings are highlighted in white and remain clear and crisp. Mechanically excellent.
