Standard Colt barrel markings with "UNITED STATES PROPERTY" on the barrel underside. Left side of frame has the Rampant Colt and "eagle/S18" proof. Butt has standard U.S. Army markings and a lanyard swivel.

Condition: Excellent. The revolver retains 95% original blue finish with some light spotting and scattered specks of surface rust present on the back strap. There is a small patch of pitting on the frame. The grips are very fine with a few minor handling marks and a missing small neat near the bottom (right panel). Mechanically excellent.
