This is a 1918 date DWM WWI Artillery Luger that has a modern reproduction leather holster, shoulder straps and board stock. These Lugers have the distinctive 8-inch barrel with nine position, tangent rear sight graduated from 1-8 (100-800) meters. The chamber is dated 1918 and the toggle is marked "DWM". Both the barrel and barrel extension have the standard WWI Imperial acceptance and firing proofs. It has the properly marked "GESICHERT" and "GELADEN" safety and extractor markings. It is fitted with an original nickel plated WWI magazine with the matching wooden base marked "9129/a". This pistol is complete with an older style, correct reproduction artillery rig to include the holster, wooden board stock, shoulder straps, double magazine pouch and cleaning rod.

Condition: Very fine pistol with 90% of the original blued finish overall with wear on the edges and high spots and thinning on the grip straps. The various small parts retain 50% of their straw colors overall. The grips are also very fine with nice distinct checkering on both sides. As noted the holster, straps, double magazine pouch and board stock are all reproductions. The Luger itself has matching numbers on the various parts except for the grips which are unnumbered.
