Blade front and tangent rear sights graduated to 800 meters, "1917" date on the chamber and "DWM" monogram on the toggle link. Three "crown/ Gothic letter" proofs are present on the right side of the barrel extension, with Imperial Eagle firing proofs on the extension, barrel and breechblock. Visible numbers match with "22" marked on most small parts including the rear sight. Proper "GESICHERT" and "GELADEN" markings on the upper safety position and extractor respectively. Blue finish with straw colored small parts, stock lug, nickel magazine with wooden base, renumbered to another gun and fitted with un-numbered checkered walnut grips.

Condition: Very fine. The pistol retains 75% original blue finish with some muzzle and high edge wear, some areas of brown patina and scattered minor spotting, and some small areas of minor pitting. The most noticeable of which above right rear grip panel. 25% of the original straw color remains on the small parts with a smooth mottled gray patina on the balance. The grips are fine with some scattered minor dings and dents, with crisp checkering. The markings are clear. Mechanically functions fine with the exception of the thumb safety being loose and not locking in position.
