Winchester model 42 410ga, pump action shotgun, 25-1/2” barrel, raised ventilated rib added, and simmons type, with copy of invoice to Page Imports, Southfield MI, 8/23/1978, mentioning repairs and additions of engraving style 5, leather cover pad, clean and adjust action, breech bolt, engine turned bolt, etc, invoiced at $826 in 1978. The gun shows custom checkered burl walnut stocks, 13-1/2” 14-5/8” to the end of the factory added leather covered pad. The stocks are nicely checkered, and show good select burl wood grain. Gun is modified choked, and remains in fine to near excellent condition, 96-98%, just some slight wear on the slide from being assembled and slightly used with a few marks in the stock. The gun is contained within a Winchester shipping box that it was probably returned in. Serial #55809. A fairly early 42 that shows later factory upgrades and engraving. Little John's will pay for packing and materials. Buyer pays actual costs of shipping and insurance. All International purchases will be sent to an exporter for shipment to foreign countries.
