Winchester model 1894 special-order Saddle-ring carbine, .30-30 caliber, plain pistol grip non-checkered stocks with hard-rubber buttplate and Winchester pistol grip cap and all other features as standard on carbine. Serial #437698. The barrel and magazine tube show 60-80% original blue thinning at the edges with some erosion and pinprick pitting just starting. The frame shows 60-80% bright original blue also thinning at the edges with some scratches, dings, and slight mars. The left side of the receiver shows two tap-holes that have been neatly filled by screws, possibly factory. The select wood stocks show a nice grain, particularly on the forend, and are good to very good with some minor dings, scratches, mars. A least very good plus overall. The hammer and lever show good traces of case hardening. The front sight blade is an old hand-made replacement and there is a gouge on the left side from incorrect removal of band. The action is good, the bore is fair. Pistol-gripped carbines are seldom encountered in the 94 series. Est: $2,000 - $3,000

Little John's will pay for packing and materials. Buyer pays actual costs of shipping and insurance. All International purchases will be sent to an exporter for shipment to foreign countries.
