Winchester model 1894 lever-action rifle, factory special-order takedown frame, 26” octagon barrel, full magazine, rifle butt, in .32 Winchester special caliber, in very good original condition, serial #929076. Thebarrel and magazine tube show 90-95% original blue, some slight toning, normal aging, minor scratches, sharp edges, sharp barrel address. The barrel shows a Marbles buck-horn rear sight in the original rear dovetail and a white-bead Lyman front sight in the front dovetail. The frame shows 20-40% evenly drifting original blue, areas where the finish has lifted are going to a pleasing patina. The takedown collar and forend capshow strong traces of original blue in their patina. The stocks are good to very good with some minor scratches, slight handling, normal aging. The wood to metal fit is excellent. The buttplate shows 75% originalblue, the loading gate shows most original blue. The barrel is tight on its takedown collar. The action is also tight, the bore near excellent. Est: $1,600 - $3,200
