Winchester model 1886 lever-action rifle, .40-82 caliber, 26” round barrel, full magazine, blue and case hardened finish, standard wood stocks, Lyman tang sight in fine to excellent condition, serial #322296. The barrel shows 95-98% original brig blue, just some slight toning, minor losses at the muzzle, some beginning normal age. The magazine tube shows 80-90% original blue, just some slight drifting and toning. The frame shows 98-95% bright and vivid case hardening with greens and purpl and all the colors of the rainbow just toning slightly with some just-starting age and slight loss on the bottom forward portion of the frame. The lever shows 80-90% case hardening with some vivid colors. The hammer shows 50-60% case hardening. The bolt shows 95% bright original blue. The stocks show a beautiful light color and 90-95% original varnish, just some slight scratches and at least 90% varnish remains. The stocks fit the metal perfectly, the buttplate shows traces of case hardening drifting to patina. The tang sight is the correct type made for 86’s with a high post. The original front and rear sight are retained. The interior is excellent, the bore is near mint. A very strong condition 86

Little John's will pay for packing and materials. Buyer pays actual costs of shipping and insurance. All International purchases will be sent to an exporter for shipment to foreign countries. International buyers agree to pay all cost incurred including all shipping, insurance, exporter fees, all custom and duty fees associated with shipment. Post 1898 firearms must be shipped to a Federal Firearms Licensee in your place of residence. All Federal, State and Local Regulations apply and MUST be strictly followed.
