Winchester model 1876 saddle-ring carbine, .45-60 caliber, first model with thumbprint dustcover. All features as standard on carbine, serial #XX597. The first digit of the serial number not legible due to repair to the area of the tang where the lever catch is located. The carbine shows a grayish brown patina finish with slight traces of original blue, scattered light to moderate pitting and erosion, good legible barrel address, stock shows some refinishing and quite a few areas of repair and fill in the forend. There are some minor replacement screws, some nicks and mars, caliber marking is good, original carbine rear sight is retained, action is good, bore good with strong rifling. Caliber marking on lifter i legible. A fairly rare early carbine with some small restorations. Est: $2,500 - $5,000

Little John's will pay for packing and materials. Buyer pays actual costs of shipping and insurance. All International purchases will be sent to an exporter for shipment to foreign countries. International buyers agree to pay all cost incurred including all shipping, insurance, exporter fees, all custom and duty fees associated with shipment. Post 1898 firearms must be shipped to a Federal Firearms Licensee in your place of residence. All Federal, State and Local Regulations apply and MUST be strictly followed.
