Winchester model 1876 lever action rifle .45-75 caliber, 28” octagon barrel, full magazine, rifle butt, 2nd model with screwed down rails, serial #11353. The rifle shows a light grey brown patina finish with some scattered light to slightly heavy pitting and erosion and a heavier pitting on the sides of the magazine. The barrel shows some light cleaning years ago now going back to patina with good barrel address. The rifle shows an old replacement Marbles rear sight and the original front sight. The stocks have been sanded and are undersized, a few screws have been replaced. The action is slightly out of adjustment and almost working, the bore is rough. A representative example of the centennial Winchester which looks like it saw frontier use. Est: $1,000 - $2,000
