Winchester model 1876 first model rifle, .45-75 caliber, 28” round barrel, full magazine, rifle butt, thumbprint dustcover, serial #1735. The rifle remains in fine to excellent original condition showing 92-95% bright original blue finish, some slight losses on the edge of the frame, minor scratches and just beginning minimal age. The stocks are also fine to excellent with a couple of minor marks and bumps. The hammer and loading lever show 75-85% original case hardening with some original vibrant colors. The dust cover shows 70% original blue, the dustcover rail shows 75% original blue. The loading gate shows 75-85% original blue, the buttplate shows 50-60% case hardening drifting to silver with a few areas of pitting and light erosion. The bolt shows most of its original blue, the bore is excellent, the rifle shows little to almost no use whatsoever. The original folding express type rear sight is retained and the front sight is original. It would be very difficult to improve on this early 76 as it is one of the top thumb-print dustcover 76’s known. Est: $15,000 - $30,000

Little John's will pay for packing and materials. Buyer pays actual costs of shipping and insurance. All International purchases will be sent to an exporter for shipment to foreign countries. International buyers agree to pay all cost incurred including all shipping, insurance, exporter fees, all custom and duty fees associated with shipment. Post 1898 firearms must be shipped to a Federal Firearms Licensee in your place of residence. All Federal, State and Local Regulations apply and MUST be strictly followed.
