Winchester model 1873 special order first model rifle with thumbprint dustcover, .44-40 caliber, 30” round barrel, full magazine, set trigger, rifle butt. Serial #28134 (Note: Near several 1 of 1,000s). The rifle shows 10-20% original blue drifting to brown with some minor erosion and pinprick pitting just starting. There is some slightly heavier pitting on the sideplates. The barrel address is sharp and crisp. The frame shows some distress around the dust cover. A slight crack. The magazine retaining band shows a few marks. A couple of screws are replaced, the frame shows 50% blue, the original dustcover shows 30-40% blue, the stock shows some dings, mars, a couple of deep scratches, and a few gouges on the right side with good wood to metal fit. The action is good, the bore is good. A nice first model with good features. Est: $2,250 - $4,500

Little John's will pay for packing and materials. Buyer pays actual costs of shipping and insurance. All International purchases will be sent to an exporter for shipment to foreign countries. International buyers agree to pay all cost incurred including all shipping, insurance, exporter fees, all custom and duty fees associated with shipment. Post 1898 firearms must be shipped to a Federal Firearms Licensee in your place of residence. All Federal, State and Local Regulations apply and MUST be strictly followed.
