Winchester model 1873 lever action rifle, .22 long caliber, 24” octagon barrel, full magazine, rifle butt, in very good original condition with considerable original blue finish, serial #201309B. The barrel shows 85-95% original blue just starting to drift and tone with good sharp edges and some light erosion and normal aging just starting. The magazine tube shows 10-20% original blue, some darkened areas, and light to moderate erosion and pinprick pitting. The forend cap sho 50-60% original blue. The frame shows 50% plus original blue evenly drifting and toning with some slight scratches. The hammer and lever show good traces of case hardening going to patina. The buttplate shows slight traces of case hardening, some dried oil. The wood is good and shows the initials “RFF” stamped on the right side of wrist. The markings are sharp, the brass lifter is well marked. The action is good, the bore is good and slightly dirty and looks like it would clean to near excellent. The original small parts are retained, generally crisp overall, and a far better than average .22 in the 1873 series. Est: $4,000 - $6,000

Little John's will pay for packing and materials. Buyer pays actual costs of shipping and insurance. All International purchases will be sent to an exporter for shipment to foreign countries. International buyers agree to pay all cost incurred including all shipping, insurance, exporter fees, all custom and duty fees associated with shipment. Post 1898 firearms must be shipped to a Federal Firearms Licensee in your place of residence. All Federal, State and Local Regulations apply and MUST be strictly followed.
