Winchester Model 21 Double Barrel Skeet Shotgun
The Skeet Grade Model 21 was manufactured from 1936 to 1959. This shotgun was manufactured in 1948 and features a red bead front and brass bead mid sight on the matte concave solid rib, 2 3/4" chambers, chokes marked WS1 and WS2, with ejectors. The left rear barrel is marked "WINCHESTER 12 GAUGE / 2 3/4 CHAM.". The bottom of the frame is marked "SKEET" and the serial number appears on the upper tang. Single trigger with selector, tang mounted manual safety and mounted with a nicely figured checkered walnut beaver tail forearm and pistol grip stock with a hard rubber Winchester grip cap and solid red Winchester recoil pad. The shotgun is accompanied by a Cody Museum records sheet which verifies the serial number, skeet grade, barrel length, chokes, single trigger, selective ejector, manual safety, pistol grip stock and checkered butt. The length of pull at the time of sale was listed as 14", it is now 15".

Condition: Fine Refinished with virtually all of the buffed blue finish remaining showing only light handling marks. The wood is excellent with a few light dings and handling marks, and crisp checkering on the forearm and sharp on the stock wrist. The markings are clear. Mechanically excellent.
