Winchester Model 1894 special order rifle, 25-35 caliber, 24” half round- half octagon tapered light weight barrel, take down frame, half magazine shot gun butt with hard rubber plate. Lyman tang sight, 3 leaf folding rear sight, white dot Lyman marked front sight and standard wood stocks, serial # 312882. The barrel shows 80-90% evenly toning and drifting original blue. The magazine tube matches well with some drifting on the lever. The forend cap and take down collar show 30-50% blue going to patina. The frame shows 75% plus original blue that is aging nicely. The stocks are very good plus with some scratches normal wear, handling and a fewmarks. The butt plate shows a chip at the toe and Winchester logo. Markings are sharp the edges are crisp, the bore is good to very good and may clean to near excellent. There is approx 30-50% case hardening on hammerand lever with some colors. A nice rifle with desirable features. Est.; $2,750-$5,500.
