Winchester Model 1892 special order rifle, 38/40 caliber, 24” octagon barrel, full magazine, rifle butt, take-down frame, select walnut stocks, serial # 18743 made about 1895. The barrel and magazine tube show75-85% original blue drifting at the edges and on the magazine from taking down. The fore end cap and collar show about 50% blue going to a brown patina. The frame shows 80-90% bright original blue with some minorscratches and slight losses. The hammer and lever show 60-80% toning case hardening with good colors. The markings are sharp and the edges are crisp. Butt plate shows at least 50% light case hardening. The stocks arevery good plus with most of the original varnish, some minor scratches and in our opinion they are 1X – 2X. The original sights are retained in proper positions, the action is tight, the bore is bright and atleast very good plus. An attractive early ‘92. Est.;$3,750.-$7,500.

Buyer pays actual costs of packing, materials, shipping and insurance. All International purchases will be sent to an exporter for shipment to foreign countries.
