Winchester Model 1892 special order rifle, .25-20 cal., 24" octagon barrel, full magazine, takedown frame, factory checkered plain pistol grip stocks, rifle butt, serial #195514, factory letter verifies all features including received in the warehouse July 2, 1902, shipped July 5, 1902. The barrel and magazine tube show 90-95% original blue drifting on the edges of the barrel, some minor scratches and losses from takedown.The frame shows 50-70% drifting blue; the takedown collar and forend cap show 80%+ toning blue finish. The hammer and lever show 60-80% case hardening, the stocks are very good+ to near fine with excellent woodto metal fit, sharp checkering, minor scratches, some light handling and about 80-90% original varnish. The markings are sharp, the edges are crisp, the rifle shows just some slight age. The action is tight,the bore is excellent. Est.: $5,000-$10,000

We are open Tuesday thru Friday 10:00 am to 5:00 pm and Saturday 10:00 am to 4:00 pm. Little John's will be closed the Friday after the auction. Preview on October 27th 7 28th 9:00 to 11:00 am each day.

Little John's will pay for packing and materials. Buyer pays actual costs of shipping and insurance. All International purchases will be sent to an exporter for shipment to foreign countries. International buyers agree to pay all cost incurred including all shipping, insurance, exporter fees, all custom and duty fees associated with shipment. Post 1898 firearms must be shipped to a Federal Firearms Licensee in your place of residence. All Federal, State and Local Regulations apply and MUST be strictly followed.
