Winchester Model 1892 saddle ring carbine in .25-20 caliber with all features as standard on carbine except showing no saddle ring and rifle type stock with rifle butt. The barrel and magazine tube show 30% to 60% originalblue evenly drifting and toning with some losses at the edges and minor erosion and pinprick pitting with some scratches. The barrel address is good and the frame shows 75% to 85% original blue thinning at the high points and edges with some scratches. The wood fits well and is in good condition with normal wear and some small chips. The rear sight is an oversized Buckhorn in the correct dovetail and is unmarked but is of the typemade by Sheard, King and other Western sight makers. The front sight blade has been slightly altered and is in its original base. The action is good and the bore is very good and looks like it may clean to excellentonce the dirt is removed. An interesting 92 that may or may not letter with these features as records are intermittent in this range but it looks factory original. Est.: $1,100 -$2,200.
