Winchester Model 1886 special order rifle .45-70 cal., 22" barrel, takedown frame, full magazine, double set triggers, full blue finish, standard wood stocks, Lyman tang sight, hard rubber shotgun butt plate,#145649. The rifle retains 85-95% original blue on barrel and magazine tube which is still fairly bright, slightly wearing at the edges and some areas of loss on the magazine tube from being taken down. The frame shows50-70% original blue with minor flaking and drifting, slight scratches, normal aging and no cleaning in modern times. The stocks are very good with some edge wear, minor imperfections, normal aging; the markings are sharp, the action is crisp, the bore is very good + and still bright. A desirable combination of caliber and features of which the rarest is the double triggers. Factory letter confirms features including notationson dimensions of stock and "hand made". Little John's will pay for packing and materials. Buyer pays actual costs of shipping and insurance. All International purchases will be sent to an exporter for shipment to foreign countries. International buyers agree to pay all cost incurred including all shipping, insurance, exporter fees, all custom and duty fees associated with shipment. Post 1898 firearms must be shipped to a Federal Firearms Licensee in your place of residence. All Federal, State and Local Regulations apply and MUST be strictly followed.
