Winchester Model 1876 special order rifle, .50-95 cal., 22" round barrel, half-magazine, shotgun butt with iron butt plate, British proofed, showing period inscription on lifter "presented by L. H. to C.H." in fancy script letters. The barrel has been neatly reduced to 22" from the original 26" length, undoubtedly by English gun dealer who sold it. The rifle is mounted with a non-factory 4-leaf folding rear sight of high Englishquality, with a matching ivory bladed front sight. The rifle retains 75-85% original blue overall, most of the loss on the edges of the frame, and scattered light erosion and just beginning pinprick pitting. Themarkings are sharp, the edges are crisp, there is some dried grease that should be cleaned. The hammer and lever show considerable case hardening within their patina, at least 20-30%, the oil finishedstocks are very good+ with a few minor scratches, storage marks, etc. The markings are sharp, the action good, bore very good+ and still bright; the original Winchester Express .50 cal. marked dust cover is

Little John's will pay for packing and materials. Buyer pays actual costs of shipping and insurance. All International purchases will be sent to an exporter for shipment to foreign countries. International buyers agree to pay all cost incurred including all shipping, insurance, exporter fees, all custom and duty fees associated with shipment. Post 1898 firearms must be shipped to a Federal Firearms Licensee in your place of residence. All Federal, State and Local Regulations apply and MUST be strictly followed.
