Winchester Model 1876 saddle ring carbine, Second Model, .45-60 cal., 22" round barrel, blued finish, British proof, #24121. The carbine remains in near fine original condition with 80-90% original blue, somethinning at the edges, a thumbprint size area of loss of finish and slight pitting 6" back from the muzzle on the left edge; otherwise pristine overall with some slight scratches and a couple of speckles on right side offrame where the finish is lost. The stocks are very good+ to near fine, crisp edges, some minor mars and dings. The hammer and lever show 60-70% case hardening, dulling, and aging. The loading gate shows 80-90%bright fire blue as does the bolt and small parts. The action is very tight, the bore is bright and near excellent, the carbine shows little use. It would be difficult and very expensive to improve upon; a strong 8-1/2 to9 on a 1-10 scale. Est.: $8,000-$16,000

Little John's will pay for packing and materials. Buyer pays actual costs of shipping and insurance. All International purchases will be sent to an exporter for shipment to foreign countries. International buyers agree to pay all cost incurred including all shipping, insurance, exporter fees, all custom and duty fees associated with shipment. Post 1898 firearms must be shipped to a Federal Firearms Licensee in your place of residence. All Federal, State and Local Regulations apply and MUST be strictly followed.
