Winchester Model 1876 lever action rifle in .45-60 caliber showing 28” octagon barrel with full magazine and rifle butt, serial number 60877. The rifle remains in original good to very good condition showing 30%to 50% original bright blue on barrel and magazine tube with good sharp barrel address and good edges. There is some just beginning light age and normal pinprick pitting, minor erosion, and slight normal aging. The frame shows 40%to 60% original blue which is drifting on the high points and edges. There are some slight scratches. The dust cover shows 50% to 70% original blue. The loading gate shows 60% to 70% thinning original blue. The hammer andloading lever show strong traces of case hardening which is quite colorful in some areas. The forend and butt plate show traces of original finish. The express type rear sight and original front sight are retained.The action sticks slightly and needs minor repair. The bore is at least very good and still fairly bright.
