Winchester Model 1876 first model special order deluxe rifle with 28" octagon barrel, .45-60 cal., button mag , blue and case hardened finish, checkered deluxe burl wood stock, with pistol grip, crescent butt, longrange adjustable tang sight, 1876 marked folding express sight in barrel dove tail, adjustable spirit level front sight in front dove tail and all sights are of correct vintage. The barrel retains 65-85% originalblue drifting to patina with some light erosion, surface pitting just starting, all of which is minor. The markings are sharp, the edges fairly crisp, the frame, hammer and lever show 10-20% dulling to silver casehardening going to patina with faint traces of colors lightly visible. The loading gate shows 30-50% thinning blue; the stocks are good to very good with fairly sharp checkering, some minor dings, mars,scratches, slight staining, but generally very good overall. The wood to metal fit is excellent and the forend checkering is the correct and early style. The action is good, the bore is good, the correct thumbprint

We are open Tuesday thru Friday 10:00 am to 5:00 pm and Saturday 10:00 am to 4:00 pm. Little John's will be closed the Friday after the auction. Little John's will pay for packing and materials. Buyer pays actual costs of shipping and insurance. All International purchases will be sent to an exporter for shipment to foreign countries. International buyers agree to pay all cost incurred including all shipping, insurance, exporter fees, all custom and duty fees associated with shipment. Post 1898 firearms must be shipped to a Federal Firearms Licensee in your place of residence. All Federal, State and Local Regulations apply and MUST be strictly followed.
