Winchester Model 1876 First Model open top rifle, .45-75 cal., 28" octagon barrel, full magazine, rifled butt, #4820. The rifle remains in very good condition with 30-50% original blue, some erosion and pinprickpitting but nothing serious, just normal age; good markings, good edges , generally good overall with some bright areas of finish. The stocks are good with tight wood to metal fit, some scratches and gouges, slightcracks, normal aging. The original sights are retained in the proper positions; traces of mottled case hardening on hammer and lever, 40% thinning blue on loading gate, good action, good bore, good overall. A very acceptable open top which is a key variation to Winchester collectors. Est.: $7,500-$15,000 Confirmed by factory letter.

Checkout Date & Times: You may checkout during the auction each day and at our business location after the auction. We are open Tuesday thru Friday 10:00 am to 5:00 pm and Saturday 10:00 am to 4:00 pm. Little John's will be closed the Friday after the auction. Preview on October 27th 7 28th 9:00 to 11:00 am each day.

Little John's will pay for packing and materials. Buyer pays actual costs of shipping and insurance. All International purchases will be sent to an exporter for shipment to foreign countries. International buyers agree to pay all cost incurred including all shipping, insurance, exporter fees, all custom and duty fees associated with shipment. Post 1898 firearms must be shipped to a Federal Firearms Licensee in your place of residence. All Federal, State and Local Regulations apply and MUST be strictly followed.
