Winchester Model 1873 special order extra-long rifle in .32-20 caliber with 32” barrel showing double barrel bands, serial number 295555B. The metal surfaces show an even brown patina finish with slight wear at the edges, normal aging and use. The barrel address and caliber markings are legible but slightly light and the front barrel been has come loose from the dovetail and there is some scratches in that area and some marks from an attempt at repair. The rifle is fitted with a factory set trigger which is working. The wood is good with some minor marks and normal aging but a good wood to metal fit. The action is good, the bore is fair to good with some roughness. Less than 1000 extra-long 1873s are estimated to have been made and probably about 100 to 150 with 32” barrels. Est.: $4,000-$8,000.
