Winchester Model 1873 special order deluxe rifle, .44-40 cal., 24" octagon barrel, button magazine, rifle butt, 3X checkered burl wood stocks, long range veneer type tang sight, beech front sight with gold platedring, serial #175225. The rifle remains in stunning fine to excellent original condition, with 97-99% bright original blue on the barrel. The frame shows 90-95% rainbow case hardening, the hammer and levershow 75-85% case hardening; the loading gate and dust cover show 90-95% bright original blue. The butt plate shows 75-85% case hardening; the stocks show sharp checkering, nearly all their original varnish, a coupleof minor scratches and handling marks, and fine to excellent overall with just a hint of aging. The bolt shows most of its original finish, the action super tight, the bore excellent. The bottom of the frame and tangshow 95-98% fiery original case hardening. A very strong 9.8 on 1 to 10 scale; and in more than 40 years of dealing in fine Winchesters we have seen only about 3 in better condition. Est.: $40,000-$80,000

Little John's will pay for packing and materials. Buyer pays actual costs of shipping and insurance. All International purchases will be sent to an exporter for shipment to foreign countries. International buyers agree to pay all cost incurred including all shipping, insurance, exporter fees, all custom and duty fees associated with shipment. Post 1898 firearms must be shipped to a Federal Firearms Licensee in your place of residence. All Federal, State and Local Regulations apply and MUST be strictly followed.
