The butt plate and frame retain traces what appears to be factory nickel plate as does the fore end cap, the barrel and magazine chute shows 50-70% toning original blue. There is some scattered erosion, slight pin prick pining, minorscratching, and normal metal age. the markings are sharp, the edges crisp, stock lightly refinished, probably when a professional gun smith checkered the stock long ago. Most likely during period of use. No factory letter at time of cataloging,action good, bore good. A combination of interesting, desirable, and researchable features. This rifle belonged to an old time rancher from the Verde Valley.

All Post 1898 firearms are register able and must be registered in compliance with both Arizona and Federal Laws. Arizona Dealers must have on possession on the day of the sale signed copies of their Federal Firearms License. All items purchased by the successful bidder must be paid for on the day of sale. Purchases not paid within 14 days of final sale date will b e charged a 5% Late Charge, all accounts past due will accrue interest at the rate of 1.5% per month on the unpaid balance and compounded monthly. Storage will be provided at no charge for 14 days following the sale date and then at a rate of $5.00 per item per day unless prior arrangements have been made. Shipping is the responsibility of the Buyer and the Buyer must make all Shipping or Delivery arrangements on large items. Smalls will be packed and shipped by us at the buyer’s expense. We do not charge other than exact cost for smalls creating and shipping. Shipping insurance is the responsibility of the Buyer.
