This is the rare Winchester Repeating Rifle Co. Model 1894 (Model 94) lever action Saddle Ring Carbine in the scarce Buffalo Bill Commemorative finish. The rifle is chambered in a 30-30 caliber with a 20 inch octagon barrel with full magazine tube both in a blue finish. The receiver shows a deep polished blue finish with factory engraving; left side marked Buffalo Bill with pin striping scroll; right side marked with the pin striping scroll. The hardwood deluxe walnut stock shows the inlaid silver colored round coin medallion showing a side profile of Bufallo Bill and marked, "Colonel William F. "Buffalo Bill" Cody 1846-1917". The rifle tang is marked, "W.F. Cody Chief of Scouts". This rifle is in like new condition, shows light handling marks, and a slight loss of finish over the "O" on the left side of the receiver, and end of barrel, and buttstock. Has not been fired.
