Manufactured circa 1866-1870, and designed by David Williamson. German silver blade front and hammer notch rear sights, with an engraved arrow on top of the barrel and "WILLIAMSON'S PAT. OCT. 2. 1866 NEW YORK" on the left. Fine scroll engraving is visible on the gilt finished upper tang, breech, trigger guard and trigger guard finials, with a sunburst pattern on the tip of the stock, which ends in a checkered bird's head butt. The auxiliary/adaptor percussion chamber is not with the pistol.

Condition: Very good plus, showing a gray patina with dark spotting on the barrel, and strong original gilt finish on the brass, concentrated in the protected areas, with a well aged patina overall. Stock is very good, with some chipping at the tip, mild wear concentrated around the rear of the frame, and a strong varnish overall. Mechanically fine.
