"New York / Apr. 25
Dear Frank,
Yours from Toronto just to hand. Am sorry there is another delay in Smith going out. I had telegraphed and written Ewing to meet Smith May 1st in Tucson. I rec'd a letter from F.L. Cody & have just written him. I wrote Ladd allso. You know if the Dyer Estate dont sell, we can still hold the majority between us. But I think the Dyer people will sell. Oh I am so anxious to get some money to Ewing by May 1st. As he has been working men getting out ore, running the mill and getting wood. And the laws of Arizona comples payment of wages every two weeks. And as I am just getting the show started I'll be crowded for cash for a few weeks. Could you see Merritt and see if he can do anything and telegraph to:
Southern Arizona Bank & Trust Co
credit E.J. Ewing.
Love, Will
