For your consideration is this early edition of "Wild Life on the Plains and Horrors of Indian Warfare" published by Sun Publishing Co. in 1885. The book has a beautifully decorated gilt cover and spine. The book contains numerous illustrations including Sitting Bull, General Custer, etc. and full descriptions of the Messiah Craze and the Ghost Dance. Also in this historic book is a graphic account of General George Armstrong Custer's last fight on the Little Big Horn, as told by his wily foe Sitting Bull also containing sketches and anecdotes of the most renowned guides, scouts and plainsmen of the west. Profusely illustrated. The book is in fair condition, though the front and back boards have literally been stitched back on and there are period pencil markings inside the front cover and back covers, as well as the first front papers. It measures 6.5" x 9.25".
