Well-made copy of Smith & Wesson New Model #3, single action revolver, .44 S&W caliber, barrel reduced for 4-1/2”, nicely scroll engraved, bone grips, serial #260 on rear of cylinder with small Belgian proofs. The metal surfaces have been lightly cleaned to grey, show some slight to moderate pinprick pitting, some traces of nickel. The engraving is of good quality. The front sight is crudely made and replaced when barrel was shortened. The trigger and triggerguard are crude Mexican replacements. The grips are loose on the frame and also a Mexican edition. The lanyard is removed. A spike-type firing pin has been added to the hammer. The action and ejector are working. The bore is rough. An interesting old single action that saw service on the borders. Would look great in a Mexican holster. Est: $300 - $600

Little John's will pay for packing and materials. Buyer pays actual costs of shipping and insurance. All International purchases will be sent to an exporter for shipment to foreign countries.
