Watson Bros. #29 Old Bond St. London, 410ga diminutive boxlox action side by side shotgun, beautifully engraved, blue and case hardened finish, English style straight pistol grip, single trigger, auto ejectors,marked “Watson Patent” on trigger, gold-inlaid “W.B. Hurst Jr.” on triggerguard, serial #8507. The gun shows 27-1/16” barrels, which are choked “Improved Cylinder” (right) and “Extra Full” (left). The frameis ornately scroll engraved with raised scroll engraving on the fences. Matching scroll on release, top tang, small parts. Gold letters “Safe” and general high-quality throughout. The frame measures only 1-1/4”wide at the rear of the water-table and is of a super diminutive size, only 1-7/8” from the front of the frame to the recoil shield. The gun shows a 14-1/16” stock from the trigger to the end of the wood, 14-3/4” tothe end of the English-type hard-rubber recoil pad.
