From 1972 to 2003, GASP (Groundwater Appropriators of the South Platte River Basin, Inc.) provided temporary augmentation plans for irrigation well users in the South Platte River Basin. The members have voted to dissolve GASP and liquidate the water right assets that were acquired for use to replenish water for irrigation well pumping. Seldom does a block of assorted water rights become available, whereby interested parties may equally participate and purchase one share or multiple shares. This absolute auction allows individuals to invest in the future, add to current ownership, and/or satisfy water right requirements.
