1) USAAF A-2 flight jacket size 38. Silver lieutenant bars are painted on the shoulders with a canvas 9th Air Force patch sewn on the left shoulder. A painted leather 22nd Fighter Squadron patch depicting a bee with boxing gloves is stitched with leather to the left chest. The right chest is painted with a cartoon image. "PISTOL PACK'N / LENORE" is painted on the back. The inside of the jacket is stamped "A.H. WATTS / T-1222414". The 22nd flew escort missions On D-Day, patrolled the air over the landing zones and flew close-support and interdiction missions. 2) Kahn Tailoring Co. winter service coat with silver 1st lieutenant bars. A cloth 9th Air Force patch is sewn to the left shoulder. The left chest has a clutch back backed pilot wings marked "STERLING" on the back and three service bars (Distinguished Flying Cross, Air Medal with four oak leafs, European/African/Middle Eastern Campaign Medal, without service ribbon rack) and Army Presidential Unit Citation. Collar has AAF officer's insignia and "U.S." insignia. Complete with an officer's service cap, two shirts, and "pink" trousers.

Condition: 1) Very good, with the exception of the right cuff missing, some wear to the left cuff and waist, and some loss stitching on the lining. Most of the painted details remain. 2) The service coat is excellent with the exception of some absent stitching in the lining. The visor has lost it's shape. The shirts and trousers are very fine with a few minor stains.
