This is a standard late WWII German Luger dated "42" on the chamber with the late war "byf" Mauser code on the toggle. The right side of the barrel extension has the standard double "Eagle/135" Waffenamt acceptance proofs with the single "Eagle" firing proof next to the serial number. The left rear side of the frame is marked "P.08". The extractor and upper safety area are marked "GESICHERT" and "GELADEN" respectively. It is numbered in the military fashion with the full serial number on the frame, barrel and barrel extension with the last two digits on the various small parts. It is complete with one blue German Army magazine with the black unnumbered plastic base that is marked on the side with the "fxo/Eagle 37/P08" proofs.
