You are bidding on a captured WWII Germany Army Officer's Dagger with Scabbard.
This is an amazing find because on nearly all of the daggers like this that you will see, the swastikas have all been snapped off.
On this one, the hanging swastika is intact.
The dagger has an overall length of just over 15 1/2 inches sheathed. The sheath is in excelleent condition and features two rings for hanging.
The dagger itself is just over 14 1/2 inches long with a nearly 10 inch blade. The blade is in perfect condtion and is marked F. W. Holler, Solingen.
The handguard is also in escellent condition, and again, the swastika below the eagle is intact.
The handle is made of creamy bakelite and is in very good conditon. There is a small imperfection on one of the winds along with a few scratches in the area where one's finger rings would rest.
The pommel is also in excellent condtion.
A rare find indeed
