Fixed sights, with "42" chamber date and "byf" Mauser code on the toggle. Eagle firing and "eagle/135" proofs are present on the right barrel extension, there is an eagle firing proof on the left rear of the barrel and left side of the breechblock. Safety and extractor are marked "GESICHERT" and "GELADEN" respectively, and the left side, rear of the frame is stamped "P.08". Visible numbers match. All blue finish with blue magazine with plastic base. The left side of the magazine is marked "fxo / eagle/37" and "P08" near the base. Fitted with checkered walnut grips. The left panel has an "eagle/135" proof stamped on the inside and the right panel has had a portion of the wood cut away.

Condition: Partially refinished, the side plate and grip straps with edge wear on the side plate and 95% blue finish remaining on the grip straps. There is wear on the lug slots. The remainder of the pistol is very fine and retains 90% original blue finish with some wear on the muzzle and high edges. The grips are excellent with a few minor nicks and dings in the otherwise crisp checkering. The markings remain clear. Mechanically excellent.
